MedImage MI-3000T, Boston
A 2019 MedImage MI-3000T 3.0-tesla MRI system, decommissioned from a Dutch regional hospital following a full equipment refresh. Helium level at 98% (topped-up 01/2026), 4,210 scan-hours since last cold-ramp. Includes the 70 cm wide-bore magnet, 48-channel RF chain, and the full control room bundle (operator workstation, patient monitoring cart, quench exhaust). Cleared for resale with a clean site-decommission audit and a signed chain-of-custody letter from the hospital. Shielding is customer-supplied — we can pair the unit with a certified installer on quote.
Funds held in Stripe Connect escrow. Signed handover docs + inspection report release the payout. 7-day inspection window on delivery.

Where the wear is.
Helium level 98%. Cold-ramp record clean. No quench events recorded.
All channels pass SNR check against factory baseline. No coil replacement since install.
Slight cooling-loop ageing, but duty cycles remain within spec. Planned fluid swap at next service.
Workstation imaged fresh; DICOM worklist integration tested against a dummy PACS.
When we looked inside.
3T magnet inspection at the Dutch regional hospital following decom. Helium level 98% with continuous cool throughout. All 48 RF channels pass SNR check against factory baseline. Gradient coil duty-cycle within spec, light cooling-loop ageing noted. 10-page report attached.

What buying used avoids.
Clinical-grade 3T systems carry a disproportionately large embodied-carbon footprint. Reusing this unit avoids ~22 t of CO₂ and defers a fresh rare-metal pull by the buyer.

Any record of repair events on the gradient coil? We've seen field failures on this generation.
Seller reply · 14 MarNo repair events. The inspector's report notes light cooling-loop ageing (planned fluid swap at next service) but nothing field-repair-level. Duty-cycle logs are in the decom pack.

Has the magnet been on continuous cool since decom, or has it been ramped down? Cold-ramp-back can be painful.
Seller reply · 13 MarContinuous helium maintenance throughout — no ramp-down. Cryostat log attached. Reinstall can be a warm connect at your facility.
